Sierra
September 25, 2021
Hi my friends.
Can I just say something? I love my job. I really do.
I got paid to make a new friend and have a blast with this lady. How many people can say that they get to do that?
We're all sick of this but it's worth being said: Sierra is a beautiful soul who has to brave senior year during Covid things. Have y'all been to a high school recently?? I dropped a friend off there last week - yikes I am so glad I am long gone and out of that season of life... far, FAR away. Let's take a minute and give a hand to these young men and women, they have seriously been troopers.
Sierra is passionate about music and the clarinet, so we naturally instantly had something in common (I do not play the clarinet. To be clear haha. I'm not that cool. But I do play piano etc.) She also has an amazing eye for photography - one talented lady. She rocked it in front of the camera and put up with my hyper mood. I was seriously just so stoked and honored to be photographing her. I'm always awe-struck to get this unique opportunity to meet people. And her amazing smile just blows my mind.
So here's my senior charge: Sierra, live to the fullest, friend. Be kind, be gracious, help your neighbor next to you. Loving God and other people is the most fulfilling purpose and the best advice I can give as you not only step into a new season, but finish the one you are in with class. Hold your head high, babe, you're a queen. Remind other people they are, too. I am so glad to know you and am cheering you on.
Congratulations, class of 2022.
P.S.
(I remember in high school seeing the elementary classes with their graduating year banner and thinking those years seemed so far away hahahaha. I feel kind of old, y'all.)
Love, Sarah
