Arrowhead Pinnacles Trail

In these Southern California mountains, nestled between some back roads and wilderness, lies this hidden gem: Arrowhead Pinnacles.

David and Kayla have been such encouragements in my life since I met them last August. They are the Dean of Men and Dean of Women at my college, and since they are dating I really wanted to be able to give them something special, the best way I know how!

That being memories. We go out and experience a piece of life in God's beautiful creation and laugh and connect and... then it's preserved in a beautiful art form. To be visibly and tangibly revisited any day you need to remember what is to be cherished in life.

The original idea was to drive hours out past L.A. and do something very Vogue-worthy with sand dunes, but, uh, we didn't have that kind of time. Instead Kayla offered up a trail she had found while driving around last summer and we piled into her truck and drove a short distance.

So simple, so quiet, so still and lovely.

I'm very glad we did.

I will wrap up with the simple fact that these two are precious to me and their hearts for the Lord are a blessing. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
