Spring 23

Warm rain is falling and a gentle thunder is rolling over. Everything is blooming out except for the oaks, but they are not too far behind. I love the smell of the dusty roads settling.

I get up early and I stay out late but that just seems to be the season. Photography is swinging back into gear and I'm pleased to be out with my camera.

I've been blessed to sing with my church a lot lately. One song I was particularly nervous about my brother took a video of for me that I'll share - I told God I wanted Him to transform my nervous energy into awe that I get to worship Him. I'm sure there would be some nerves to stand before the Lord! I wanted to be in awe.

I love that there was hail and snow one week, and our 90 heat wave the next. Everyone's commenting how dark my hair is suddenly, it's because I haven't been in the sun. To be sure that is changing.

I finished July 2022-March 2023's songbook and started new. I am so excited. I think I totaled 123 songs written in the past 2 years. Oy. Praise God haha, that's... something wild.

I've been pondering humility. Spending lots of time in deep conversation with sweet friends. Ashlyn and I took to the badminton court last night. My sister and I started a dance class and I'm faithfully attending PT for my back. Been looking at some big life changes and deciding which ones to make. Planning some trips this summer that I'm super excited about :) Working, studying, playing, making new friends, family, all the things. This doesn't really have helpful information or business stuff, but I'm glad you like to hear how my little life is :) I am deeply content and craving change all in one.
